Cigna Evernorth Medical Care Solutions Sales Enablement Lead in Bloomfield, Connecticut

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.

Provides project leadership to Care Solutions Growth team on significant strategic planning matters and all business development/sales deals. Performs research, market and product analysis and modeling used in analysis of new opportunities, market segmentation, business plan development, performance analysis and evaluation of capabilities. The position must have an in depth understanding of chronic condition care, payer and employer digital healthcare offerings across the competitive landscape and have experience developing growth ideas and ensuring they successfully execute within a large organization. This person will create presentation materials and presents and prioritizes complex and challenging business issues to Evernorth management and business unit heads. They will partner with the Care Solutions CGO to provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines of Care Solutions. You’ll be recognized internally as the go-to person for driving the most complex strategic planning exploration, business development and sales prioritization exercises for Care Solutions (we’ve launched our MSK and Oncology solutions and are on our way with Navigation) with many more condition specific solutions in development.

Role & Responsibilities

Meet directly with stakeholders across Cigna & Evernorth regularly to understand opportunities of strategic focus, utilize prioritization models to evaluate the value of implementing existing and potential market focused opportunities across strategic distribution channels. Lead various strategic pre-sale explorations to be able to qualify and quantify the value of new products, capabilities, new markets and cross selling opportunities. Develop, own and maintain the Care Solutions business strategic five year roadmap and ensure alignment to the current and future solutions.

• Leads the most strategic go-to-market opportunities, cross-functional initiatives with support from the Evernorth Enterprise Sales & Consultant Team(s)

• Cultivate opportunities to capture voice of prospects and represent voice of customer/prospect as the Care Solutions Go-To-Market representative at internal meetings

• Participate in customer/prospect opportunity management (pipeline creation), including evaluating new client requests against strategic priorities and current solutions sets and assistant in product development

• Create fantastic presentations & RFP responses to support strategic priorities and help translate them across various enterprise stakeholders

• Coordinate internal prep meetings and strategic communications with participation from various areas across Evernorth Care Solutions and Cigna/Evernorth

• Solves complex problems, develop innovative solutions and ensures adequate documentation across the enterprise, acting as a dedicated representative to product development and program management for Care Solutions

• Reviews work and delivery progress and concepts created by others across Evernorth and provides recommendations for improvements and alignment to strategic needs

• Serve as an ambassador for Care Solutions and provide explanations and information to others on the most complex issues

• Motivates and inspires other teams, leadership and peers while acting as an agent of positive change within Evernorth

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 8-12 years of industry experience, Master’s degree with 6-10 years of experience solving business problems, or 14-18 years related business experience

• Healthcare & Chronic Condition Experience required

• Sales & Business Development Experience required

• Digital Health and or Start-up experience preferred

• Project Management, Agile experience and demonstrated prioritization skill set

• Strong, detail oriented organizational and analytical skills a plus

• Knowledge of CRM a plus and interested in working with the sales enablement team to build a CRM instance that meets the needs of Care Solutions

• Excellent PC skills – including Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access

• Proven ability to work in a fast paced, complex and – ever changing environment

• Excellent relationship building and cross functional skills

• Travel up to 10% (Primarily an internal role, but occasional travel to conferences and events)

• Ability to manage through change, multiple timelines and meet tight deadlines

• Enjoys challenges and has fun embracing ambiguity

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $92,800 - $154,600, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
