Sales Experience Facilitator


Our ideal candidate has a rich background in classroom, virtual, and hybrid formats of facilitation and experiential learning on a broad range of disciplines,bringing solutions and learning to life for Sales Professionals. The individual is able to impact sales business results and organizational performance through learning solutions with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization. They also have experience managing and continually improving large sales training programs by identifying and driving development of best in class content.Typical subject matter expertise includes Sales and Negotiation skills, Sales methodology training, coaching for managers, presentation skills and storytelling. Should have a minimum of 5 years experience delivering sales healthcare training and/or sales experience.


•Facilitate and lead classroom/virtual/hybrid learning for all levels of employees/leaders in multiple disciplines

•Lead facilitator for our Cigna Sales Academy Early Career Academy

•Lead facilitator for our Producer New Hire Program and Producer Education Series programs

•Consult with Enterprise Sales Effectiveness, Organizational Development, Cigna University and Talent Management partners and internal clients to design and deliver impactful learning experiences leveraging multiple delivery methods

•Owns and supports development of all content related to the programs they deliver looking to continually improve key learning programs as identified.

•Work collaboratively with Cigna Sales Institute Content Design team and other partners to design, develop, revise, and update programs and learning solutions

•Adapt learning solutions designs to the customized needs of various audiences

•Support the development of peers, content developers, program managers and facilitators

•Responsible for measuring results for program/learning solutions

•Background in delivering and developing training for early career employees

•Partners with Program Manager/HR to develop feedback mechanisms for assessing early career talent and reports out regularly to Program Manager/HR on success

•Deliver programs and learning solutions targeted for Sales Leadership

•Continuously improve your own capabilities and areas of expertise

•Other duties as assigned



•5 years working within a sales training organization

•5 years of classroom, virtual, and hybrid facilitation and experiential learning experience with all levels of the organization including executives and senior leaders

•7 years experience in Healthcare/Insurance setting

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Adult Learning, Business, Communications, or other relevant field is required. Master’s degree preferred

•Relevant experience in business, healthcare, or in a learning and development-related field (adult learning, organizational development, etc.) preferred.

•Certified in the following areas highly desired : Challenger Selling, Negotiation Skills, Consultative Selling, Customer Service/Relationship Skills, Manager Coaching, Agile Methodologies, Emotional Intelligence,

•Expertise in all areas of learning and development including learning strategy, design thinking, consulting, solutions design/implementation, instructional design, learning technology and infrastructure, informal/ collaborative learning, etc.

•Superior presentation and facilitation skills

•Experience developing other facilitators

•Ability to travel 50% of the time
