Cigna Support Calling Lead- Express Scripts in Fairfield, Ohio
Serve in a lead role in the Front End Pharmacy. Provide expert assistance to team members with issues needing technical expertise. Distribution of workload and monitoring of workflow for associates of their assigned area to ensure assigned work is completed timely and accurately. Serves as a resource to supervisor, resource management team, and team members. Supports productivity, quality and safety efforts, assisting to troubleshoot and rectifying issues, trains and mentors team members, and development of policies and procedures. Conduct peer-to-peer and lead-to-leadership team communication in assigned department to ensure issues are known and adequately addressed
Complete order processing while maintaining productivity and quality standards following procedures and guidelines.
Serve as the first line resource for questions/issues from team, in coordination with supervisor
Provide on-the-job training for new or existing team members.
Demonstrates leadership qualities consistent with the Cigna values.
Assist Supervisor in ensuring that established policies and standard operating procedures are being followed and that individual and team goals for productivity and quality are met/exceeded.
Effectively coach issues impacting performance and productivity of team members; including documenting issues, offering solutions, collaborating with others, communicating status and escalating as needed.
Actively participate in continuous improvement events that assist in the development, documentation and updating of policies and procedures for technicians, including specific training and validation material.
Mentor team to improve their understanding and skills.
Act as a liaison to resolve prescription order problem
Assist with work plan development and work distributions for team members.
Taking part in leadership meetings and leadership development programs as required.
Additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required.
1-2 years relevant experience.
Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
General PC knowledge: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and email skills preferred.
Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Pharmacy Operations.
Strong attention to detail with good organizational skills; good verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate heavy work volumes.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions.
Ability and desire to assist team members
