The job profile for this position is Sales Effectiveness Analyst, which is a Band 3 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a highly motivated, focused individual to join our rapidly expanding Broker Growth and Broker Sales Effectiveness Team in our Global Individual Health (GIH) business. Reporting to the Head of Broker Growth and Sales Development for Cigna Global Individual Health (GIH), the Broker Sales Effectiveness Manager will have a key focus on helping to grow the business sold through brokers across the spectrum of products and services provided by Cigna Global Individual Health.

The Broker Sales Effectiveness Manager will work cross-functionally with the Subject Matter Experts from the GIH business and shared service teams from International Health Delivery Services (IHDS), to optimize areas and opportunities for growth across a range of capabilities including product and proposition; broker support model and digital capabilities for brokers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • To drive performance across the global broker channel, supporting delivery of ANP and Revenue Plan targets, such as via global enhanced broker commission arrangements, override agreements and specific initiatives in key markets to drive growth.

  • To drive performance across the global broker channel via the sales planning and forecasting process, in conjunction with Finance and Actuarial stakeholders, to ensure timely and accurate sales forecasting based on close liaison with regional sales teams.

  • To drive, implement and support broker sales incentive programs, coordinating and aligning with GIH’s DTC (Direct to Consumer) team as needed, to bring increased energy and performance to the broker sales teams.

  • To work with the regional broker sales teams, and strategy and market development team to develop broker sales strategies supported by customer insights, data and travel corridor analysis to identify key segments and markets to laser target growth via GIH broker partners.

  • To work with the regional broker sales teams to produce a consolidated global broker sales plan, including detailed sales plans at a regional level.

  • To work with Finance and Actuarial teams to provide a data led strategic approach to the global broker growth agenda. To support the development and implementation of GIH’s broker growth plans globally, by prioritizing customer segments, markets and products that provide the best value for new business for GIH to support execution of a profitable and long term sustainable growth strategy for the GIH broker channel.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree, minimum 2-1, all degrees considered;

  • Preferably c. 2-years related experience in a commercial environment;

  • Strategic thinker, able to understand the ‘big picture’ and translate it into tangible deliverables;

  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to derive recommendations from an in depth understanding of data and business levers;

  • Self-driven, with strong prioritization and organization skills to manage deliverables in a dynamic commercial environment;

  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely convey complex ideas and plans;

  • Ability to build and leverage internal relationships;

  • Curious, with an eagerness to learn;

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word;
