Cigna Head of Proposition and Offer in Jakarta, Indonesia

Position Objective:

Lead the strategic direction and create the overarching proposition roadmap for existing and new customer propositions to drive growth in line with our strategic objectives. Strong collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and work across all B2B, B2C and B2B2C product lines.


Responsible for understanding target customer needs and market developments, along with developing appropriate product propositions and services to meet customer needs and deliver growth.

Responsible for analysis across the market to continually optimize commercial performance. This will include utilizing internal and external insights in order to inform our customer targeting and product and service proposition development.

Key account-abilities:

  • Proposition development from cradle to grave - identifying the opportunity, building the business case and executing the go to market plan.

  • Lead on all aspects of the business case creation for each new proposition and gain buy in from the appropriate forums for approval, funding and change resource.

  • Define customer needs through: Assessment of the market and competition; maintaining a deep understanding of relevant socio-economic trends; analysis of customer research and data; affinity partner insights; front line feedback.

  • Further develop our B2C customer segmentation and embed understanding of key customer segments across the business

  • Develop an Insight led innovation and NPD process, leading to the creation of customer centric product and service innovations. These innovations will support the Cigna’s brand proposition, meet Cigna’s customers’ needs and therefore deliver better commercial returns for the business

  • Manage and deliver periodic, pre agreed performance reviews of the propositions to ensure they deliver business objectives, meet the target customers’ needs and fulfil regulatory requirements.

  • Research and monitor the relevant portfolio performance. Plan and deliver remedial action to address under performance and/or maximize over performance

  • Manage and approve the sign off of all relevant marketing communication and campaign recommendations provided by the Marketing team in response to submitted briefs to ensure that technical content requirement and business outcomes are achieved.

  • Evaluate competitor activity and external market developments and communicate findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

  • Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Manager

  • Ensuring that product and service propositions are in line with the OJK’s Product Regulation and Governance requirements and, in particular, build end-to-end propositions that service the needs of the target markets.

  • Creating and maintaining controls in order to mitigate key risks with particular emphasis on product suitability, enquiry generation and compliant practice
