Cigna QA End to End Test Lead - Evernorth in Morris Plains, New Jersey

The End to End Test Lead will be responsible for all manners of QA in an agile environment to drive End-to-End (E2E) business flow testing and quality delivery for Health Services/Evernorth program deliverables. Tasks include collaborating with all impacted application teams to develop an overall test strategy, identify data needs, track/report progress/issues and obtain approval of the E2E test results. There are multiple strategic and tactical responsibilities. Must be able to work in a rapid-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and be self-managed and motivated. This is an Individual Contributor Lead position, not a hands-on tester.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the design of an overall, robust test strategy, including a consolidated data approach to thoroughly test the logic and handoffs that support the E2E business flow(s).

  • Identify and socialize all testing/quality risks and define mitigation strategies.

  • Coordination of all E2E test execution, both internally and with clients or other external partners as needed.

  • Work with Delivery Management, Business & Technical Product Owners, and application leads to confirm schedules and resource allocations.

  • Work with the teams to efficiently resolve issues.

  • Maintain dashboards on E2E testing progress and issues for reporting to various levels of management.

  • Promotes cross-functional communication and advocates continuous improvement Facilitates lessons learned sessions and help implement best practices.

  • Identify automation opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience coordinating highly complex testing efforts.

  • Deep knowledge and experience with various testing methodologies in both agile (Scrum & Kanban) and waterfall environments.

  • Ability to quickly develop a good understanding of the technical details within the applicable application(s)/system(s) to be tested as well as correlate that activity to the solution and the business feature(s) it supports.

  • Ability to translate high-level or vague specifications into clear testing requirements with acceptance criteria.

  • Strong technical and analytical skills.

  • Knowledge of multiple platforms ranging from mainframe to entities.

  • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills to influence participants and drive results. Solid individual contributor, but will spend time providing direction to others.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work and guide others during time constraints to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic cross-functional work environment, learn quickly, identify risks and solve problems.

  • Functions well in a large-scale, highly complex, cross-functional / platform environment.

  • Knowledge of the Health industry/PBM preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work well in a diverse environment.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office application software: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project.

  • Working knowledge of Jira is helpful, but not required.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $84,800 - $141,300, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
