Cigna Configuration Intake Manager in Nashville, Tennessee
We are currently seeking a dynamic configuration team lead to join Cigna Medicare in a role representing Configuration Intake Management. The resource selected will be responsible for incoming Portfolio Management requests, oversee team Project Management duties, form relationships with Market Representatives and administrative tasks associated to system configuration change requests (CCRs) within OnBase. This person will be working with the Configuration Market Advisor and Analysts matrixed to him/her and his/her peers in the business and network operations. The primary assignment for this role will focus as a Booking Manager overseeing time allocation and management
Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all Intake requests submitted as Portfolio project and configuration change requests (CCRs) for completeness clarity and work effort.
Works directly with all team members to obtain scope of work estimates.
Perform as a Booking Manger in Clarity representing the Configuration team as a whole
Reviews configuration and associated documentation for accuracy, completeness and appropriateness, recommending most appropriate modeled solution when necessary.
Team spokesperson for OnBase application improvements and changes impacting the Configuration team.
Identifies process and system improvement opportunities.
Helps foster a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the Configuration team.
May work with IT and business management to identify and specify the complex business requirements and processes, and in the application design, testing and implementation process.
Coordinates the activities with other IT sections (e.g. business analysts, development team.).
Seeks out, includes, analyzes and documents business and user needs and requirements, and translates into proper system requirement specifications.
Functions as subject matter expert for industry and system related issues.
Possesses full knowledge of phases of systems analysis as relates to configuration, but also considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
May instruct, direct, and check the work of other team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or comparable experience.
Prior configuration experience required.
At least three years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, health insurance delivery, claims processing, enrollment processing, premium billing, provider contracts, benefits administration or configuration desirable.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to collaborate with a team of Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, Project Managers and Application Developers to convert business requirements into technical specifications.
Adaptable and flexible to business demands
Extensive problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) governance requirements preferred
Previous employment in Medicare/Medicaid organizations
Healthcare/Healthcare insurance industry knowledge
