The Cigna Group -Management Consultant – Sales and Provider Analytics in Raleigh, North Carolina

What You’ll Do:

  • Act as an internal consultant and project execution leader

  • Work cross-functionally, translating strategies into execution frameworks, ensuring our combined efforts maximize enterprise ROI through affordability gains that elevate our right to win in the Employer segment

  • Manage tactical delivery of key initiatives associated with fully realizing the value thesis of combining of the Sales and Provider Analytics organizations

  • Support the benchmarking of Broker and Client perceptions in the market and institute demand-derived means of prioritizing Client reporting features that best differentiate Cigna’s market positioning

  • Drive operational efficiencies by maintaining momentum on initiatives, fostering collaboration, driving project/change management, and being a consultative leader that fills team gaps

  • Synthesize complex subject matter into simple and relatable terms

  • Curate executive-level presentations that tell our value story, while teasing out delivery risks, key learnings, and our proposed path forward

  • Bring energy and creative drive to effectively lead team of high performing professionals across multiple segments and functions

Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; Advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA, PhD, etc.) or equivalent (typically 8+ years) work experience preferred;

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization

  • Capability to drive an independent work stream in the context of a broader team project

  • Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations

  • Ability to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis

  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

  • Prefer prior experience working in Health Insurance Benefit Broker/Consulting space with a broad understanding of the competitive landscape

  • Has foundational understanding of managed care organizations and how provider networks are designed and the various mechanisms that improve the predictability of costs

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,100 - 181,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
