POSITION SUMMARY

Our Internal Agency is seeking to add an experienced Senior Integrated Producer to join the in-house agency’s team of creative experts. As a critical enabling function within the Agency, the ideal candidate brings deep creative agency experience and production management knowledge of the development of a variety of creative assets (with emphasis on digital-first content production). The Senior Integrated Producer is well-versed in the creative process and production execution of myriad cross-channel asset/deliverable types, partnering with Account Management to define and prioritize production work while also taking accountability for driving every aspect of the creative project process.

The Senior Integrated Producer brings rigor and scalability to the creative production practice, elevating consistency and improved efficiency, leading agency functional teams through the process to accurately scope, estimate, develop, produce and distribute a wide array of marketing communications initiatives.

The Senior Integrated Producer drives understanding and respect for agency process , maintaining a proactive mentality and ability to critically think through the production development process and what it will take to complete initiatives within large program bodies of work.

Core competencies required include critical thinking, flawless organizational skills, effective problem-solving, masterful people and process management, and impeccable written and verbal communication skills. You are the main communication link with the internal team, must be comfortable navigating ambiguous situations, and consistently bringing order to the chaos, to ensure agency projects are brought over the finish line on time and on budget.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Partners with Account Management to define and prioritize substantial program bodies client work.

  • Partners across agency functions to develop and articulate detailed scopes of work, including functional requirements, estimates and timelines.

  • Critically thinks through process steps and potential risks on projects to execute effectively, efficiently and with transparency. Demonstrates agility in problem solving and adeptly clears roadblocks for project teams.

  • Leads team of dotted-line and/or direct reports. Oversees and mentors junior/intermediate producers in their management of agency initiatives.

  • Clearly communicates deadlines and associated risk to clients and agency project teams. Monitors and controls project cycle times.

  • Builds and manages cross-functional project teams through a project’s lifecycle. Aligns resources best suited for work.

  • Builds thoughtful plans for execution in partnership with print, video and digital producers.

  • Clearly defines all aspects of an initiative for project teams including approved scope, requirements, timelines, allotted hours and key milestones. Leads teams through execution to ensure delivery of the highest quality work, within strategy, scope and budget. Brings order to chaos and helps mitigate scope creep.

  • Maintains control of project timelines and burn rates , by proactively working with the Creative team and holding them accountable to schedules and allotted hours.

  • Keeps workflow tool updated in real time.

  • Proactively coordinates kickoff meetings, periodic project check-ins, agency leadership reviews, proofreading, translation, and legal review requirements, keeping everyone in the loop throughout the process.

  • Reviews projects deliverables to ensure adherence to strategy, scope, requirements and quality standards.

  • Seeks consultation or information , when needed, with internal and external partners/vendors to inform the account or creative team and/or the client with information needed to make decisions on project direction.

  • Elevates concerns to Account, Creative or functional leads.

IDEAL CANDIDATES WILL OFFER

  • 7+ years of experience as a project manager, program manager, producer or similar role within a creative ad agency or design studio.

  • 3+ years of people leader experience.

  • Ability to understand, create and communicate business and functional requirements/ Understanding of how to plan and execute a broad range of deliverables with ability to speak creative and production languages to bridge the gaps between them.

  • Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Mac/PC skills.

  • Experience with project management software (Wrike, Asana, Workfront, etc.) and common creative agency technology including, but not limited to Adobe Acrobat, file transfer tools and HTML.

  • Team player and a fast, creative thinker/problem solver.

  • Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines.

  • Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

  • Self-driven, highly-motivated, compassionate and curious — An excellent communicator with a positive attitude and stellar listening, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

  • Ability to work from a Cigna office 50% of the time, as requested by the business
