The Cigna Group Medicare Field Sales Manager - Cigna Healthcare - Remote - Orlando/ Lakeland, FL in Tallahassee, Florida

Candidate must be located in Orlando/ Lakeland, FL area

  • Valid Health Insurance Producer license to sell Medicare products, required

  • Local Travel, required

  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance, required (mileage reimbursement provided)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • 80% Production and people management focus, driving to achieve and exceed the new sales Plan goals.

  • 20% strategy focus - 3-6 month planning with agents and senior management to effectively build and drive the market business strategy and drives sales.

  • Plans and executes the local field sales strategy to achieve and exceed the Plan sales goals by supporting representatives in building their book of business and optimizing sales opportunities.

  • Develops, motivates, evaluates and coaches Sales Team on lead generation, conversion rate, community and provider development, sales techniques, compliance and performance goals. Is visible and available to staff to answer questions, evaluate results, resolve escalated calls and give ongoing consistent feedback.

  • Schedules formal one-on-one meetings to review and discuss performance to key metrics, goal attainment and career development.

  • Drives team usage and understanding of systems, policies, programs and procedures knowledge.

  • Manages and monitors daily workflow and reporting to ensure business objectives are maintained and accurately reported.

  • Develops and maintains strong collaborative relationships with internal business partners and external key contacts to develop and drive additional lead generation and sales opportunities, maintain excellent lines of communication and provide insight and impact.

  • Use reporting tools, product knowledge, and sales strategies to coach, mentor and motivate sales agents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 or more years of work experience with at least 1 or more years of management experience required.

  • Bilingual preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed plan sales goals.

  • Community Outreach & training background, preferred.

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.

  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and information.

  • Strong time management and organization skills.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
