Lead Analyst Group Specific Information (GSI) content would work as part of the process performance knowledge management team. Lead Analyst Group Specific Information (GSI) content would support the vision and strategy of the knowledge management team on their journey towards defining the upstream and downstream value of GSI’s and turnaround GSI performance.
We are looking for someone who has the ability to look at large amounts of data, understand them and create benchmarking databases and/or proprietary knowledge solutions. This person would study the GSI’s in detail and support us in creating relevant content to support operational needs.
This position requires an understanding of provider contracts, and delegated credentialing to be able to work with the GSIs.
Conduct end to end provider participation and roster only analysis to translate them into GSIs
Review the current GSI’s and write instructions on how to load them into the system
Perform the GSI review of content for accuracy, format and alignment to intent
Verify that the contract exists and provide loading guidelines for GSIs
Determine how HCPs should be represented in systems and directories
Identify and communicate insights; model processes and functions; limitations and risks.
Stay abreast of developments in GSI’s and continue to advance our capabilities on GSI’s
Ability to work with large amounts of provider data is a must
Compare existing data for a group with evidence of participation, other artifacts/sources of information, business rules to produce a list of who belongs to the group
Create analytical queries, recommend changes needed in the systems to align the evidence supported model
The person in this role would have to:
Think creatively and adapt to novel applications and new business contexts
Collaborate with people in a highly matrixed environment
Translate business objectives into data and analytics solutions using appropriate data, analytics, and simulation and optimization applications.
5+ years of experience in healthcare preferred
3+ years of experience in provider data preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills a must.
Strong skills in scoping, problem definition and problem solving under time constraints
Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related discipline such as Operations Research, quantitative Management Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)
Strong skills in data engineering (e.g. SQL, R, Python).
Familiarity with dynamic, discrete event, and stochastic simulation methods and languages.
Familiarity with time series and forecasting techniques.
Must thrive in a fast paced environment and be able to work independently.
Solid experience with VBA and SAS/OR
Optional experience with C, C++, Java
